what we do & where yo' money go
From the “ALL ALUMNI” Fairley High Alumni Association, Inc. 2017 inception one of the original objectives for incorporating was to organize alumni to help prevent school closure. Due to poor academic performance and under 300 low enrollment, the closure threat spanned over several years. The looming close status changed 2024 when fellow alumni Dr. Steevon Hunter was selected as Principal.
Our cyclical involvement has provided financial and mentoring support to students in various academic, sports, and community engagement capacities. Year round and year-after-year there are various adhoc projects requested by school administrators:
-
Sponsorship for senior activities and dues
-
Sponsoring sports banquets and other auxiliary activities
-
ACT test prep camps and ACT cost support
-
Procuring resources for homeless students
-
Group and one-on-one student mentoring
-
Parent's emergency utility cutoff assistance
-
Student hygiene care packs
-
Back to School packs
